Astrological calendar

August 1942

Every New and Full Moon, every eclipse with its Saros family, every retrograde and every sign change — in Brasília time, computed with precision ephemerides validated against NASA’s catalogue.

  1. 1 Saturday

    Mars enters Virgo

    05:27 AM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  2. 3 Monday

    Last Quarter in Taurus

    08:04 PM · Brasília time

The light wanes: time to harvest what served and release what did not. A conscious closing before the next cycle.

  3. 11 Tuesday

    Eclipse Solar partial in Leo

    11:44 PM · Brasília time

A New Moon with the nodal axis activated: the Moon covers the Sun. In the tradition, a restart of this size moves structure, not detail — and the effect is counted in months, not days.

Saros 115 · previous in the series: July 1924

  4. 12 Wednesday

    Mercury enters Virgo

    10:48 PM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  5. 17 Monday

    Venus enters Leo

    12:04 AM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  6. 19 Wednesday

    First Quarter in Scorpio

    08:31 AM · Brasília time

A week after the seed, the first tension: what was planted meets the real world. It is a course correction, not a surrender.

  7. 23 Sunday

    Sun enters Virgo

    03:58 PM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  8. 26 Wednesday

    Eclipse Lunar total in Pisces

    12:47 AM · Brasília time

A Full Moon intensified by the Earth’s shadow: culmination and emotional turning point. What was ripe shows up all at once.

Saros 127 · previous in the series: August 1924

  9. 31 Monday

    Mercury enters Libra

    05:28 AM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.
