Astrological calendar

December 1956

Every New and Full Moon, every eclipse with its Saros family, every retrograde and every sign change — in Brasília time, computed with precision ephemerides validated against NASA’s catalogue.

  1. 2 Sunday

    Pluto stations retrograde in Virgo

    04:12 AM · Brasília time

Seen from Earth, the planet stops and moves backwards: a period of review for the themes it rules. Retrograde is not punishment — it is the second pass over the same subject.

    Eclipse Solar partial in Sagittarius

    05:00 AM · Brasília time

A New Moon with the nodal axis activated: the Moon covers the Sun. In the tradition, a restart of this size moves structure, not detail — and the effect is counted in months, not days.

Saros 151 · previous in the series: November 1938

  2. 6 Thursday

    Mars enters Aries

    08:18 AM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  3. 8 Saturday

    Mercury enters Capricorn

    04:10 AM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  4. 10 Monday

    First Quarter in Pisces

    08:51 AM · Brasília time

A week after the seed, the first tension: what was planted meets the real world. It is a course correction, not a surrender.

  5. 12 Wednesday

    Jupiter enters Libra

    10:54 PM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  6. 17 Monday

    Full Moon in Gemini

    04:06 PM · Brasília time

Sun and Moon on opposite sides of the sky: maximum light on what had been growing. What was implicit becomes visible — in feeling, in outcome, in conversation.

  7. 19 Wednesday

    Venus enters Sagittarius

    04:06 PM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  8. 21 Friday

    Sun enters Capricorn

    05:59 PM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  9. 24 Monday

    Last Quarter in Libra

    07:10 AM · Brasília time

The light wanes: time to harvest what served and release what did not. A conscious closing before the next cycle.

  10. 31 Monday

    New Moon in Capricorn

    11:14 PM · Brasília time

Sun and Moon meet at the same degree: one cycle closes and another begins in the dark. The classic moment to plant intention — not to harvest results.

What this means for your chart

The calendar is the same for everyone; the effect is not. Each event lands in a different house of your chart — and that is what changes what it asks of you.
