Astrological calendar

May 1956

Every New and Full Moon, every eclipse with its Saros family, every retrograde and every sign change — in Brasília time, computed with precision ephemerides validated against NASA’s catalogue.

  1. 2 Wednesday

    Last Quarter in Aquarius

    11:56 PM · Brasília time

The light wanes: time to harvest what served and release what did not. A conscious closing before the next cycle.

  2. 7 Monday

    Pluto stations direct in Leo

    05:00 PM · Brasília time

The planet stations and returns to direct motion: what was under review starts moving again, now with what was learned along the way.

    Venus enters Cancer

    11:19 PM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  3. 10 Thursday

    New Moon in Taurus

    10:04 AM · Brasília time

Sun and Moon meet at the same degree: one cycle closes and another begins in the dark. The classic moment to plant intention — not to harvest results.

  4. 14 Monday

    Saturn enters Scorpio (retrograde)

    12:39 AM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

    Mercury stations retrograde in Gemini

    09:12 AM · Brasília time

Seen from Earth, the planet stops and moves backwards: a period of review for the themes it rules. Retrograde is not punishment — it is the second pass over the same subject.

  5. 17 Thursday

    First Quarter in Leo

    02:15 AM · Brasília time

A week after the seed, the first tension: what was planted meets the real world. It is a course correction, not a surrender.

  6. 20 Sunday

    Sun enters Gemini

    11:13 PM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  7. 24 Thursday

    Eclipse Lunar partial in Sagittarius

    12:31 PM · Brasília time

A Full Moon intensified by the Earth’s shadow: culmination and emotional turning point. What was ripe shows up all at once.

Saros 120 · previous in the series: May 1938

  8. 31 Thursday

    Venus stations retrograde in Cancer

    03:03 PM · Brasília time

Seen from Earth, the planet stops and moves backwards: a period of review for the themes it rules. Retrograde is not punishment — it is the second pass over the same subject.

What this means for your chart

The calendar is the same for everyone; the effect is not. Each event lands in a different house of your chart — and that is what changes what it asks of you.
