Astrological calendar

April 1958

Every New and Full Moon, every eclipse with its Saros family, every retrograde and every sign change — in Brasília time, computed with precision ephemerides validated against NASA’s catalogue.

  1. 2 Wednesday

    Mercury enters Taurus

    04:14 PM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  2. 4 Friday

    Eclipse Lunar penumbral in Libra

    12:59 AM · Brasília time

A Full Moon intensified by the Earth’s shadow: culmination and emotional turning point. What was ripe shows up all at once.

    Saturn stations retrograde in Sagittarius

    04:28 PM · Brasília time

Seen from Earth, the planet stops and moves backwards: a period of review for the themes it rules. Retrograde is not punishment — it is the second pass over the same subject.

  3. 6 Sunday

    Mercury stations retrograde in Taurus

    11:23 AM · Brasília time

Seen from Earth, the planet stops and moves backwards: a period of review for the themes it rules. Retrograde is not punishment — it is the second pass over the same subject.

    Venus enters Pisces

    12:58 PM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  4. 10 Thursday

    Mercury enters Aries (retrograde)

    10:54 AM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

    Last Quarter in Capricorn

    08:50 PM · Brasília time

The light wanes: time to harvest what served and release what did not. A conscious closing before the next cycle.

  5. 11 Friday

    Pluto enters Leo (retrograde)

    12:29 PM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  6. 15 Tuesday

    Uranus stations direct in Leo

    05:29 AM · Brasília time

The planet stations and returns to direct motion: what was under review starts moving again, now with what was learned along the way.

  7. 19 Saturday

    Eclipse Solar annular in Aries

    12:26 AM · Brasília time

A New Moon with the nodal axis activated: the Moon covers the Sun. In the tradition, a restart of this size moves structure, not detail — and the effect is counted in months, not days.

Saros 128 · previous in the series: April 1940

  8. 20 Sunday

    Sun enters Taurus

    11:26 AM · Brasília time

  9. 26 Saturday

    06:36 PM · Brasília time

A week after the seed, the first tension: what was planted meets the real world. It is a course correction, not a surrender.

    Mars enters Pisces

    11:28 PM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  10. 30 Wednesday
