Astrological calendar

July 1981

Every New and Full Moon, every eclipse with its Saros family, every retrograde and every sign change — in Brasília time, computed with precision ephemerides validated against NASA’s catalogue.

  1. 1 Wednesday

    Pluto stations direct in Libra

    01:29 PM · Brasília time

The planet stations and returns to direct motion: what was under review starts moving again, now with what was learned along the way.

    New Moon in Cancer

    04:03 PM · Brasília time

Sun and Moon meet at the same degree: one cycle closes and another begins in the dark. The classic moment to plant intention — not to harvest results.

  2. 3 Friday

    Mercury stations direct in Gemini

    09:57 AM · Brasília time

The planet stations and returns to direct motion: what was under review starts moving again, now with what was learned along the way.

  3. 8 Wednesday

    First Quarter in Libra

    11:40 PM · Brasília time

A week after the seed, the first tension: what was planted meets the real world. It is a course correction, not a surrender.

  4. 12 Sunday

    Mercury enters Cancer

    06:07 PM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  5. 17 Friday

    Eclipse Lunar partial in Capricorn

    01:46 AM · Brasília time

A Full Moon intensified by the Earth’s shadow: culmination and emotional turning point. What was ripe shows up all at once.

Saros 119 · previous in the series: July 1963

  6. 18 Saturday

    Mars enters Cancer

    05:53 AM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  7. 22 Wednesday

    Sun enters Leo

    07:39 PM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  8. 24 Friday

    Last Quarter in Taurus

    06:40 AM · Brasília time

The light wanes: time to harvest what served and release what did not. A conscious closing before the next cycle.

    Venus enters Virgo

    11:03 AM · Brasília time

A planet changes sign: the same function starts operating in another style. The theme does not change — the manner does.

  9. 31 Friday

    Eclipse Solar total in Leo

    12:45 AM · Brasília time

A New Moon with the nodal axis activated: the Moon covers the Sun. In the tradition, a restart of this size moves structure, not detail — and the effect is counted in months, not days.

Saros 145 · previous in the series: July 1963
